A safe space to talk, heal, and reclaim yourself
Life can feel exhausting when you're overwhelmed, overthinking everything, or struggling to feel confident in yourself. If you're living with low self-esteem, ADHD traits, or ongoing family relationship stress, it can feel like you're constantly trying to cope while silently falling apart; depression and anxiety can make even the smallest tasks seem unconquerable; whilst grief can leave a hole which seems impossible to fill.
At Anchor Point Devon Counselling, you will find a calm, supportive, and confidential space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what’s going on. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back, understand patterns that keep repeating, and work towards reclaiming your true self.
You don’t have to have everything figured out. Sometimes the bravest first step is just to turn up.
But you don’t have to do it alone.

At Anchor Point Devon, we strive to provide compassionate and professional counselling services. Our mission is to support individuals on their journey to mental wellness and personal growth. We all need an anchor point during our lives, and we are privileged to be able to provide this and help people during turbulent times and onto calmer waters.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, bereavement, stress, addiction, anger, or self-esteem, or purely just want to discover more about yourself, we are here to walk alongside you all the way.

Please reach us at enquiries@anchorpointdevon.co.uk or through our contact form if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Counselling provides a safe and confidential space where you can talk to an experienced counsellor about anything. It may be a current issue you are struggling with, a past trauma which is impacting your day to day, or purely an opportunity to gain some insight into yourself and make new discoveries about who you truly are.
Counselling provides the emotional and non-judgemental support as you experience your own personal journey through life.
Counselling sessions are usually one hour at £50 per hour.
Concessions are available for student counsellors and NHS staff at £40 per hour.
Discounts are also applied if pre-booking 10 sessions in advance - please enquire for full details.
No. Although we recommend attending once a week, we can be flexible and offer alternative schedules. We are always happy to discuss your preferences with you.
If you are unable to make a session, we ask that you provide us with 48 hours notice.
If a cancellation is less than 48 hours before the scheduled session, the full amount will still be payable. If you have paid for block bookings in advance and you provide 48 hours notice, the payment will roll over to your next session. If 48 hours notice is not given, this will count as one of your sessions.
If you are unable to come in person for any reason, your counsellor may still be able to offer you an online or telephone session, so please speak with them in the first instance.

I believe we are all unique in our own way — that’s what makes every journey special. I support people through life’s challenges with compassion and curiosity, helping you learn from your past, reconnect with your strengths, and find steadier ground. Arrive with yourself as you are, and let’s take those first steps together.
